He stops to look at her and then stomps off.Įmpress Dowager orders Dok Man to prepare Eo Jin and send her to Ta Hwan’s chambers. He comes across Seung Nyang with the tea. He replies that he thought she was better than El Temur, but really they’re exactly the same. She declares that this is for the royal house. He tells her to stop he doesn’t want to hear it. After all, it’s an auspicious day for producing an heir. He declares he should go but Empress Dowager ‘orders him to stay. Empress Dowager thinks that Ta Hwan’s all for the plan. Ta Hwan sighs and tells Dok Man that it’s enough. But she doesn’t really, because that was her visualizing. She declares that she’ll have to kill him with one blow. Seung Nyang runs over the layout of the room and declares that she can’t give anyone time to stop her from completing her mission. She thinks to herself how Ki Se will come after her if she’s arrested for killing Ta Hwan, but she declares that she will be able to die in peace once Ta Hwan is dead.Ĭoncubine dance while Dok Man plays. She spies a metal chopstick and thinks of Ta Hwan’s betrayal, declaring her father the assassin, her father dying. Seung Nyang’s searching the kitchen frantically. Empress Dowager declares her quite the dancer and hopes that Ta Hwan will find the place *relaxing.* Great. In the bridal suite, it’s evident that Ta Hwan had no idea that he’s supposed to be bedding a woman tonight. And Gol Ta should have been paying attention. Before he leaves, he again glances at Seung Nyang. Ta Hwan asks Empress Dowager why they’re meeting together. She thinks to herself, that this is her chance! Seung Nyang starts to clean up the tea cup. He starts to ask her if she has *a brother,* but Empress Dowager arrives. Is this it? Ta Hwan declares that they look really similar. And he gets on his knees to squat in front of her. Dropping the tea and dropping to her knees. As Scott is getting the heat from the Kardashians, Costa Rican fire dancers perform in the background and the real burns are saved for next week’s episode.Episode starts where we left off: Seung Nyang carrying the tray and running into Ta Hwan. While this could’ve been a delightfully long and absurd scene, they could only come up with Chelsea Clinton and Chelsea Handler and I’m pretty sure those are the only famous Chelseas. Kim and Khloé toy with Scott by name dropping famous Chelseas in conversation. “My kids deserve to, like, have somebody with better, like, moral characteristics,” she says decisively before Scott arrives. Kanye makes his first appearance since canceling his tour at a tea date with Kim and Kourtney and seems completely out of it, save for a dad joke about Pomeranians fitting in the palm of your hand. The robbery and Kanye’s breakdown still loom large over family activities. She rides camels and dune buggies with friends in the desert and we discover that she smells totally fine after freaking out on Scott, despite having no deodorant on (hygiene goals).
She visits a children’s center, where she receives love and admiration all while wearing a charmingly trashy tucked-in t-shirt and ripped jeans combo. After shaming Scott and his hook-up, Kim continues with her self-care and rehabilitation in Dubai. Last night’s Keeping Up With the Kardashians gave us more opportunities for Kim to torment girl-crazy Scott.
